Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing RYD E-Bikes. We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and services. To protect your rights and clearly explain our policies, please read the following terms carefully. This policy applies only to orders placed directly through the RYD official website and RYD-owned stores.


Core Principle: Due to the specialized nature of e-bikes, we generally do not accept returns without a reason. All return or exchange requests must be based on and comply with the provisions outlined below.

1.Returns/Exchanges for Quality Issues (Within 14 Days of Receipt)
If the product you receive is Damaged on Arrival or has manufacturing defects (hereinafter "DOA"), we offer free returns or exchanges within 14 days of receipt (hereinafter the "Inspection Period").

1.1 Definition of DOA
DOA refers to appearance, functional, or structural deficiencies found upon initial receipt that prevent the normal use of the product. This includes damage or defects discovered when first unboxing the product.
1.2 Your Inspection Responsibility
You must inspect the goods within the 14-day Inspection Period. If no issues are reported during the Inspection Period, the product will be deemed acceptable in terms of appearance, function, and structure.
1.3 Problem Handling Process

Scenario A: Damage Discovered Upon Unboxing

  • Process: If you discover any problem (appearance, functional, or structural) when first opening the packaging, please stop immediately and contact our customer service team via email (service@rydbike.com) as soon as possible, providing your order information and photos/videos of the issue.
  • Resolution: Upon confirmation, we will arrange a free pickup and provide a replacement or refund.

Scenario B: Functional/Structural Problems Discovered After Use

  • Process: If you discover functional or structural problems during the Inspection Period after test riding the bike, please contact us immediately via the email above.
  • Resolution: After we confirm that it is a functional or structural problem qualifying as DOA, we will provide a free return and exchange. Please note that appearance defects (such as minor scratches) discovered after riding will not be considered DOA.

2. Exceptions and Associated Charges for Non-Quality Related Returns/Exchanges
We generally do not accept returns or exchanges for non-quality-related reasons. However, the following exceptions apply, and you will be responsible for associated charges:

2.1 Refused Delivery
Once an order is shipped, we cannot modify, intercept, or cancel it. If you refuse delivery of the package, the full round-trip shipping costs and an order processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
2.2 Return/Exchange of Unopened Products
If you wish to return an unopened product for personal reasons (e.g., after accepting delivery), you must contact us first.


Process & Charges:
1.You will be responsible for all actually incurred shipping costs (including initial outbound and return shipping).
2.Before returning the product, you must take photos of all six sides of the product packaging (including the outer carton) as proof. If the product is lost or damaged during return shipping, you may be liable for corresponding compensation costs.
3.The refund will be processed after we confirm receipt of the returned, unopened product in good condition.

3. Refund Processing Time
Once your return request is approved and we have received the returned item (if applicable), we will process the refund promptly.

  • Processing: We will complete the quality check and review within 3 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Refund Receipt: After approval, the refund will be processed immediately. The funds will be returned to your original payment method. Depending on the processing speed of different banks or payment platforms, it typically takes 5-15 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Please be patient.


4. Purchases from Non-Official Channels
If you purchased your RYD product from a distributor, dealer, partner bike shop, or other e-commerce platform, their respective return and exchange policies apply. Please contact your point of purchase directly for assistance with such orders, as RYD cannot handle returns or exchanges for them directly.


5. Policy Disclaimer
RYD reserves the final right of interpretation regarding this Return and Refund Policy.
RYD reserves the right to interpret and update the terms of this policy based on actual circumstances.
